Chad Friends International

About Us

OUR HISTORY

From the Start

Founded in the United States in January 2023 and launched in Chad in April 2023, Chad Friends International is a non-profit organization with a big heart and a bold mission: to educate, improve, and empower the lives of children with disabilities, autism, albinism, and vulnerable young girls in Chad and beyond.

Inspired by a personal story of love and loss, our founder Ms. Manuella Baalzarh Papy turned pain into purpose. Moved by her late aunt Solange’s struggle as a disabled woman in Chad, she envisioned a world where no child is left behind because of their differences.

With no major funding yet, we operate on the selfless contributions of our members and volunteers. In our first acts of service, we donated food and financial support to special needs centers in N’Djamena. But we’re just getting started.

Our focus areas include:

  • Education access for children with disabilities

  • Nutrition programs and basic needs support

  • Medical aid and mobility equipment

  • Awareness campaigns for autism and albinism

  • Support for single mothers and vulnerable young women

We invite you to join our movement—whether through donations, volunteering, or partnerships. Together, we can rewrite the story of Chad’s marginalized children.

Our Commitment

Our Mission

Our mission at Chad Friends International is to educate, empower, and uplift the lives of children with disabilities, autism, and albinism, as well as vulnerable mothers in Chad.
We are committed to providing access to quality education, essential nutrition, medical support, and inclusive opportunities that enable these children and families to live with dignity, hope, and independence.

Our Vision

Our vision is a world where every child—regardless of ability, condition, or background—has the right to learn, grow, and thrive in a society that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
We envision a Chad where disability is not a barrier, but a bridge to compassion, community, and collective progress.
